The hotel is perfectly situated for enjoying the downtown Duluth experience, close to Canal Park and Bentleyville. The rooms are standard Holiday Inn setup, but unfortunately, mine didn't face the lake. The service, especially the shuttle drivers, was incredibly cheerful, although there were some issues with mask-wearing. The location is great to access Canal Park and includes an attached parking structure. Facilities were adequate, offering a comfortable stay overall.

The location was good to explore Duluth and the North shore, although it could be cheaper compared to beach hotels in Florida. It was directly accessed to the 8th-floor pool atrium.
